We got a free upgrade to a big corner room with separate bedroom which was fantastic! Bottle of wine and water for free too. Extra nice since it was husband’s 60th birthday. Did they know?! Location was very convenient with bus stop next door for bus to old town. Restaurant was very good for both breakfast and dinner. Secure parking garage at no charge.

Boasting indoor and outdoor heated swimming pools, as well as a 200-meter-long beach on Kvarner Bay, Hilton Rijeka Costabella Beach Resort And Spa is set in Rijeka overlooking the old town of Opatija... Very good hotel. Great staff, polite and caring. All liked it. Just great. The rooms were given twice as much as booked at the same price, they said a present from the hotel.
