I like catching the tram to Circular Quay and the ferry to all the stops to explore for the day. I connect with local buses. Balmain, Double bay, Darling Harbour are all worth visiting and each has different qualities and attractions. I always visit the Art Galleries and the Westfield tower especially at dusk to watch the sunset. The city has many arcades to explore and the Queen Victoria Building is a must see just for its architecture and the shops are unique and eclectic. You can Bus to Bondi and walk along an undulating coastal track. We walked to Coogee. Each cove has cafes and beaches to explore. China town food halls are great for yummy inexpensive food. Lots to see.

As a new Zealander, flying into Sydney, I find the train from the airport is wonderful and both trains and bus trips using my Opal travel card makes this city easy to get around. Staying in the CBD means public transport right outside the door. No need to find and pay for parking - expensive to do so. public transport is cheap compared to Brisbane. A lot of attractions still in walking distance. Some places provide a discount for attractions and parking a car at the hotel. Not all hotel rooms have kitchenettes, so that is a con.

Great location in Sydney city center. Short walk to Central train station (well connected to airport), right next to several tram lines, and next to Chinatown. About 10 minutes on the tram to get to Circular Quay, Sydney Opera House, and all the sights. The hotel itself was somewhat dated but it was clean, affordable, and the staff were friendly and kind. The downstairs bar was also pretty nice with reasonable prices. Overall for the price point and location this would be hard to beat for a solo traveler. Definitely recommend.

We needed a family room due to transit. The apartment (self-catering!) Was great: very clean, large and cozy, kitchen including dishwasher + good equipment, washing machine + dryer, very good beds, 2 bathrooms, top soundproofing, balcony, great location to the airport (we did not need shuttle offer) and supporting and friendly staff. It was one of the best hotels we had on our 3-week AUS-trip. Price-performance was also right. Highly recommended!

The staff were exceptional and genuinely caring. Most Sydney hotels are recovering from two years of pandemic trade restrictions. Generally Australians need to step up and become more productive I think we have been sitting at home too much and we have become lazy. Room cleanliness in all hotels I have stayed at in Australia is not was it was pre Covid.
